John Pailthorpe BA BEd

John has extensive experience leading groups and individuals in challenging and sometimes hazardous situations. He has skippered a Cambridge Arctic Shelf Project motor boat taking geologists into northern Svalbard. He has also worked as a field guide for British Antarctic surveys.

John has Outdoor Education experience involving the design and delivery of personal development and leadership courses. He has numerous National Governing Body Qualifications including:

Yachtmaster Offshore certificate
British Canoe Union Awards
Mountain Walking Leader Training Board,
Summer Leader Award & Single Pitch Award (rock climbing).
